This is not simply our job, it's our passion.The Director of Information Technology (IT) at One&Only Palmilla will be responsible for overseeing all technology operations and ensuring that they align with the resort's goals. This role involves managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring the security of systems, and developing technology strategies to support the overall objectives of the resort. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendors, and oversee system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring that the resort operates efficiently through modern and reliable technology.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the resort's IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with senior management to identify and prioritize technology initiatives.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to improve operations and guest experiences.
• Oversee the management and maintenance of all IT systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, software, servers, and telecommunications.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and manage comprehensive cybersecurity policies to protect resort data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments, implementing changes as needed.
• Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and tools to perform effectively.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
• Plan and manage staff development and training initiatives.
• Oversee all IT projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and software integrations.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure successful project completion within scope and budget.
• Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technology-related matters within the resort.
• Ensure data integrity and proper storage of sensitive information, including guest records and financial data.
• Manage backup processes and disaster recovery planning.
• Develop and implement policies for data governance.
• Oversee the technology used in guest services (e.g., Wi-Fi, booking systems, keyless entry, in-room technology).
• Ensure seamless operation of guest-facing technologies and troubleshoot any guest-related technology issues.Our brand is expanding faster than ever before.
