Job Description:

Sanhua International is looking for an Account Manager with a background in actuators to join our team in our San Jose, CA office. This role will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key clients in the Automotive industry that rely on actuators for automation, control systems, and machinery. The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of actuators and their applications, combined with strong sales, communication, and account management skills.Responsibilities:

• Operationalize strategic priorities and initiatives for projects to achieve business metrics and goals.
• Collaborate with account teams and work with customers in the sales process.
• Identify new business opportunities and upsell actuator solutions to existing clients.
• Lead sales presentations, demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client requirements.
• Establish customer and partner relationships to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify/contact decision-makers, prioritize business opportunities, and lead/facilitate customer-facing pursuits.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to clients regarding actuator selection, integration, and maintenance.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in actuator technology.Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Technical certifications or training in actuators, automation, or related industries is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an account manager, sales engineer, or in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on actuators or related technologies.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in casting/plastic injection/stamping.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing accounts in technical industries.
• Solid understanding of actuators, including electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, and linear actuators, and their applications in automation and control systems.
• Familiarity with actuator integration in various industries, such as manufacturing, robotics, automotive, or aerospace.Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in global teams that have scaled partnerships and industry solutions.
• Thought leader and ownership with an understanding of the automotive industry.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to earn the trust of customer executives and internal stakeholders, with strong learning capabilities on cutting-edge knowledge.
• Self-starter that excels in a fast-paced, changing environment, able to handle and execute multiple tasks.
