• Benefits may vary by location and roleJob Summary:This job description applies to: Plant Operations, Biomedical, Grounds/Parking, Construction Coordinator, and oversight of contract with Security services. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Plant Operations plans, organizes, directs, and controls the facilities management functions including, but not limited to: planning, design, construction, alterations, operations, maintenance, and disposal of plant facilities and equipment, life safety, fire prevention, and protection. Establish goals, objectives, and standards of performance, develop and implement operating policies and procedures, interpret policies, standards, regulations, and codes to personnel. Manages and directs the activities of assigned personnel and service contractors in the preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings, grounds, and related fixed and portable equipment, all construction projects under one million dollars, and equipment installation. Plans, coordinates major and minor storage moves within and outside the facility. Works with State Fire Marshall, Area Construction Officer, architects, Inspector of Record, Tenet Corporate Construction and Design, and the medical center staff to develop and complete OSHPD projects to confirm with Title XX1V of the California Code of Regulations.
