this role.About the Role:Terradot is hiring a Product Manager
(Deployment MRV Platform). In this role, you'll play a critical
part in building our cutting-edge Deployment Measurement,
Reporting, and Verification (MRV) software platform, empowering
scalable deployments to tackle carbon removal at unprecedented
speed and scale. Join a team of world-class scientists and
technologists where you will ship product that directly solves the
planet's biggest challenge. This role is a key part of Terradot's
Technology Team. You will work cross-functionally with operations,
engineering, business, and science and work directly with the
Co-Founder to shape the overall product
vision.Responsibilities:
- You will help build and scale Terradot's Deployment MRV
Platform that manages deployment operations and automates
scientific processes and data collection to accelerate Terradot's
global ERW deployments and help remove carbon at speed and scale.
In the short term, ensure the platform effectively meets the needs
of our deployment team, scientists, and partners, and in the longer
term scale the platform for external partners globally.
- You will effectively balance Terradot's strategic goals for
scalability, usability, and compliance with leading MRV
(Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) protocols.
- You will interface with the Deployment Operations team to
gather real-time feedback from the Field and monitor post-launch
performance to rapidly iterate for continuous improvement. You will
work with our Engineering and Science teams to ensure the platform
supports rigorous MRV processes and scales effectively.Background
and Requirements:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, particularly in
building and scaling software platforms in an early-stage startup
environment with a track record of launching products from 0 to 1
and then scaling them.
- Rock-solid technical background, with past hands-on experience
in software development or engineering. Ideally, you have been a
Software Engineer IC before/studied Computer Science in
college/developed projects on the side.
- Expertise in user-centric design, with a proven ability to meet
and exceed the exact needs of users
- Demonstrated experience managing the development of web
applications, mobile applications, and data-intensive platforms,
and an in-depth understanding of driving product development with
agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating user
requirements and business goals into actionable product features
and technical requirements
- Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with
engineering, design, science, and operations teams
- Eager to get your hands dirty! Whether it means driving a truck
transporting feedstock or collecting soil samples yourself, you are
obsessed with understanding the end user's needs and living in
their shoes to build and ship better products.Nice to Haves:
- PM Experience building cutting-edge software products in the
physical world (e.g. in logistics, aerospace, construction) and/or
in deeply scientific spaces (e.g. healthcare) that are data
intensive
- PM experience building cutting-edge software products in the
CDR or AgTech space
