ABOUT THE ROLE
As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for performing
sophisticated preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs and
installations of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and/or HVAC/R
(refrigeration) equipment, chillers, boilers, abatement devices,
machinery and controls located in the interior and exterior of
buildings. Working under general direction, supervises building
system operations and performance. Has critical, niche knowledge
required at client site.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job
function and is responsible for providing support, preventive
maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. This includes
providing on-call response (by phone or in-person) to incidents and
emergencies during non-scheduled hours. The on-call team assignment
rotates weekly among the Facility Engineering team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides
informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to
coworkers. Coordinates and assigns tasks to co-workers within a
work unit and/or project.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United
States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the
future.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES
Universal CFC license, OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response certification is required. Additional
certification in one or more of the following: electrical,
mechanical, HVAC and refrigeration systems, process controls,
mechanical power transmissions, plumbing, carpentry or engine
repair.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve
slightly complex problems.
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to
apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel,
Outlook, etc.)
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping,
standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to
lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine
compensation, including a candidate's education, training and
experience. The salary range is $45 - $47 per hour. The
compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on the
candidate's skills, qualifications and experience. This role will
