  • Analyze root cause of RMA returns
  • Investigate new product failures
  • Determine cause of yield excursions
  • Meet ADI's failure analysis cycle time and quality commitments
  • Develop new techniques for analyzing failures
  • Work with Design, Application, process, product and package engineering to identify the failure root cause and propose corrective actions
  • Take ownership for a piece of failure analysis equipment; and keep it runningMinimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Physics, or Science degree with semiconductor emphasis. Master's degree Preferred.
    • Strong technical understanding of how a diode and transistor work
    • Good understanding of Analog and mixed signal circuit analysis
    • Ability to read schematics and layout
    • Good English oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to use a curve tracer and electrical bench equipment
    • Good troubleshooting skills
    • Fab and/or assembly process experience a plus
