OverviewRambus, a premier chip and silicon IP provider making
data faster and safer, is seeking to hire an exceptional Senior
HRIS Analyst to join our Human Resources team in San Jose, CA. In
this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors
and engineers in the world developing products that make data
faster and safer.As a Senior HRIS Analyst, you'll play a pivotal
role in managing, optimizing, and analyzing our Human Resource
Information Systems (HRIS) to ensure effective HR operations. You
will lead HRIS projects, working closely with HR professionals to
enhance system capabilities, streamline processes, and provide
data-driven insights to support organizational goals. In this
full-time role, you'll report directly to our HRIS Manager. Our
Human Resources team is dedicated to ensuring effective HR
operations, and your contributions will be instrumental in that
goal.Rambus offers a flexible work environment, embracing a hybrid
approach for most office-based roles. Employees are encouraged to
spend an average of at least three days per week onsite, allowing
for two days of remote work.Responsibilities
- HRIS Management: Administer and maintain the HRIS and related
systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with
relevant regulations.
- System Optimization: Identify and implement enhancements and
upgrades to the HRIS to improve user experience and operational
efficiency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights
and recommendations that support workforce planning, talent
management, and other HR initiatives.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in HRIS-related
projects, including system implementations, migrations, and
integrations with other HR and business systems.
- User Support: Serve as a point of contact for HRIS users,
providing training, troubleshooting, and ongoing support to ensure
effective system utilization.
- Reporting: Develop and generate customized reports and
dashboards for HR and management, ensuring timely delivery of
critical data.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
to align HRIS capabilities with business needs and strategic
objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS
processes, procedures, and changes for compliance and training
purposes.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology,
Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS administration, data analysis,
or a similar role, preferably within a mid to large-sized
organization.
- Strong proficiency in HRIS and related platforms (e.g.,
Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, SumTotal and
ICIMS) and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred but
not required.
- Act with strong integrity.
- Project management experience and familiarity with HR processes
and best practices.
- Strong skills in data entry, data integrity, and data
management practices to ensure accurate and secure HR data.
- Understanding of HR processes and how HRIS can support
organizational goals and strategies.
- Skills to provide training and support to users, ensuring they
can effectively utilize the HRIS.
- Demonstrated data analysis skills + advanced proficiency in
Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of the
organization.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and
integrity.
