Job Description:
Do you want to work for an innovative aerospace company based in

vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, offering a
sustainable solution with minimal noise. As a System Safety
Engineer, you'll be at the heart of this cutting-edge technology,
contributing to the development of aircraft that will transform the
aviation industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of safety requirements and assessments for key
vehicle systems such as Flight Controls and Powertrain
systems.
- Participate in vehicle-level safety analyses and contribute to
the definition of safety requirements at the vehicle level.
- Represent System Safety in cross-functional decision-making and
regulatory compliance activities.
- Participate in regulatory compliance planning and testing,
working closely with leadership and the Certification and Test
organization.
- Develop and execute test plans in a simulation lab environment
to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct Zonal Safety Inspections on the aircraft to maintain
safety standards.Technical Requirements:
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering or a related
technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a System Safety
Engineer.
- Familiarity with systems used in civil aviation, particularly
Flight Controls and Powertrain systems.
- Experience across all phases of aircraft development, from
concept through to entry into service.
- Proficiency in conducting safety analyses and creating,
validating, and verifying aircraft and system-level safety
requirements.
- Experience taking responsibility for safety activities within
civil aircraft certification programs.
- Experience developing and executing test plans in a simulation
environment.
- A thorough understanding of civil aviation standards,
regulations, and industry practices.Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with CAD tools such as NX, Solidworks, or CATIA for
conducting drawing and 3D model reviews.
- Experience performing physical aircraft installation
examinations and inspections.
- Experience with type certification under 14 CFR Part 23 or Part
27.
- Familiarity with ARP4754A development programs.
- Background in Flight Controls or Powertrain systems (electric
engines, high-voltage power systems) in the automotive or
