websites, driving traffic, and engaging users.As a member of our
team, you'll lead and develop customer-facing web performance
strategies that transform manual operations into efficient and
automated software while keeping customer digital goals in
mind.What will you do
- Conduct detailed performance audits of Google Core Web Vitals
for AEM Customers to derive actionable insights for page
performance improvements. Find opportunities for future automation
to proactively address performance bottlenecks.
- Leverage tools like DevTools, RUM, Puppeteer, or Lighthouse CI
to benchmark and establish clear, data-driven performance
recommendations. Evaluate their efficiency against critical metrics
like LCP, CLS, INP, and TBT.
- Implement and fine-tune the integrations of marketing
technology stacks such as tag managers, analytics platforms, and
third-party scripts into the AEM Websites while ensuring minimal
impact on page speed metrics.
- Collaborate with customers to discuss performance analysis
findings, explain sophisticated technical issues in clear,
non-technical language, and recommend tailored solutions. Stay
informed about industry trends (Edge Workers, CSR/SSR etc.) and
innovations.
- Transform insights findings into data-backed hypotheses,
validated through A/B testing and multivariate experiments. Provide
data & insights to train models to automate performance
improvements.
- Embrace iterative development and Rapid prototyping using
modern JavaScript frameworks to test new insights, employing a
fail-fast approach.What you need to succeed
- BTech/MS or similar in Computer Sciences, or shown achievements
in web development, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing web
applications with a focus on high performance and scalability.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (Vanilla), CSS3, and
HTML5.
- Deep understanding of web performance metrics and optimisation
techniques, including Core Web Vitals, critical CSS, lazy loading,
and prefetching. Shown ability to improve Lighthouse scores.
- Able to translate technical insights into clear,
customer-friendly explanations.
- Experience with Python for building automation scripts is an
added advantage.
- Previous experience with working on optimisation problems with
personalisation engines is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a
proactive, team-oriented approach. Ability to collaborate optimally
across multi-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Excitement for staying current with the latest web
technologies, trends, and standard processes.Our compensation
reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets,
and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay
range for this position is $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Pay
within this range varies by work location and may also depend on
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can

during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting
salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base +
commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales
commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed
as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the
Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be
eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity
