We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you'll have the exciting opportunity to build and nurture client relationships while managing tax engagements for a diverse range of clients. This person is preferred to be in the Bay Area.Responsibilities:

• You will work directly with the clients, manage tax engagement teams, and work with other technical specialists to advise clients on a variety of complex issues.
• Use your experience in accounting and taxation to provide planning, research, consulting and compliance services to clients and assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
• Managing all aspects of technical planning, research, consulting and compliance.
• Mentor and develop junior associates by providing performance feedback and guidance to help them develop their technical and industry skills.
• Responsible for participating in the in-house CPE classes developed internally and provided by the Firm.
• Assist in researching technical issues, writing technical memorandums, preparing analyses, and participating in IRS audits on behalf of clients.
• Responsible for managing clients which includes writing proposals, engagement letters, budgeting, staffing and billing.Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting
  • Advanced technical skills in tax compliance and planning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position.
