Meet the TeamThe Non Technical Sales Role Mastery Team is dedicated to fostering talent and enhancing sales capabilities across Cisco's workforce. We support new talent onboarding of early-in-career and sales professionals, ensuring a smooth and effective integration into the company. Additionally, we provide everboarding for non-technical roles within GTM, aimed at upskilling employees to deliver greater value to customers. Another key initiative of the team is the execution of a comprehensive year-round sales readiness plan, beginning with the enablement experience at GSX and continuing throughout the fiscal year, to ensure continuous growth and alignment with Cisco's strategic objectives.
Your ImpactYou will empower Cisco's sales professionals with engaging, results-driven learning experiences that simplify complex solutions and drive customer engagement. Through instructional design, multimedia storytelling, and sales readiness tools, you will create interactive training and coaching solutions that enhance seller confidence and performance. By conducting needs analysis, defining curriculum requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders, you will deliver impactful, scalable programs that equip sales teams to succeed in a dynamic market.

Collaborate effectively with the team and stakeholders while independently driving initiatives from design through the deployment process. Utilize tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and video production software to develop compelling learning experiences. Leverage AI-driven personalization, adaptive learning, and gamification to enhance seller engagement. Experiment with new instructional design approaches and cutting-edge enablement technologies to create compelling learning experiences. Stay up to date on Cisco's evolving sales strategies, Splunk's latest innovations, and industry best practices to keep training programs fresh and relevant. Collaborate with stakeholders, including sales leadership, product teams, and subject matter experts, to align training content with business objectives and sales strategies. Manage external learning vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality content and curriculum development. Continuously innovate and explore new ways to engage sellers, ensuring training remains relevant, effective and aligned with Cisco's sales strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, instructional design, or learning & development within a technology or SaaS organization.
  • Experience developing sales-focused learning content that enables sellers to drive complex customer engagements.
  • Proficiency in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning) and adult learning principles.
  • Hands-on experience with e-learning tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Figma, etc.)
  • Expertise in sales readiness platforms (Highspot, Mindtickle, or similar) and LMS/LXP administration.Preferred Qualifications:
    • Prior experience in Cisco, Splunk, or a similar enterprise technology sales enablement environment.
    • Strong understanding of Cisco's End-to-End Sales Methodology (E2E) and/or Splunk's Unified Engagement Model (UEM).
    • Familiarity with AI-powered sales coaching, conversational intelligence, and data-driven enablement.
    • Certifications in Instructional Design, Sales Enablement, AI-Driven Learning, or Learning & Development (CPLP, IDC, or equivalent).
    • Experience with learning analytics, training impact measurement, and performance coaching methodologies.
