Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs to oversee regulatory compliance and manage day-to-day regulatory activities for its health plan business.



Key Responsibilities

Manage the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws
Conduct regulatory research and stay updated on changes affecting the health plan business
Monitor legislation and rulemaking, translating complex regulatory language into actionable information for management


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Policy, Law, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years in regulatory affairs or compliance within the health insurance industry
Proficiency in navigating regulatory databases and interpreting health insurance regulations
Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, or other government-sponsored programs preferred
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and manage stakeholders effectively
