Why This Role Matters

  • Lead Product Development: As Director of Product Management, you will manage the full lifecycle of Supermicro's switch products, from concept to end-of-life (EOL).
  • Shape Market Strategy: You'll develop strategic roadmaps, go-to-market plans, and ensure maximum visibility for our switch products in the market.
  • Influence Growth and Innovation: Your leadership will drive key decisions to maximize market share, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction.What You'll Do
    • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee switch products through the entire lifecycle, ensuring successful product launches and market positioning.
    • Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market trends and business needs to develop tactics that position Supermicro's switch products for maximum impact.
    • Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to refine product specifications and ensure product features align with their expectations and business needs.
    • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead research and analysis to develop platform strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive execution of product roadmaps.
    • Voice of the Customer: Represent the needs of customers and the field in product planning, identifying key requirements and emerging trends in datacenter deployment.What You'll BringEssential Qualifications:
      • Education: Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent). Master's in Engineering or Business is highly preferable.
      • Experience: 15+ years of extensive product leadership, planning, and people management experience. 5+ years in customer-facing roles.
      • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of server products, their architecture, and the product roadmap.
      • Business Acumen: Ability to build compelling business cases, develop effective presentations, and measure success.
      • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients and internal teams.What We Offer
