Why This Role Matters
- Lead Product Development: As Director of Product Management,
you will manage the full lifecycle of Supermicro's switch products,
from concept to end-of-life (EOL).
- Shape Market Strategy: You'll develop strategic roadmaps,
go-to-market plans, and ensure maximum visibility for our switch
products in the market.
- Influence Growth and Innovation: Your leadership will drive key
decisions to maximize market share, competitiveness, and customer
satisfaction.What You'll Do
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee switch products through
the entire lifecycle, ensuring successful product launches and
market positioning.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Analyze market trends and business
needs to develop tactics that position Supermicro's switch products
for maximum impact.
- Customer Collaboration: Work with customers to refine product
specifications and ensure product features align with their
expectations and business needs.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead research and analysis to
develop platform strategies and collaborate with cross-functional
teams to drive execution of product roadmaps.
- Voice of the Customer: Represent the needs of customers and the
field in product planning, identifying key requirements and
emerging trends in datacenter deployment.What You'll BringEssential
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or
equivalent). Master's in Engineering or Business is highly
preferable.
- Experience: 15+ years of extensive product leadership,
planning, and people management experience. 5+ years in
customer-facing roles.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of server products,
their architecture, and the product roadmap.
- Business Acumen: Ability to build compelling business cases,
develop effective presentations, and measure success.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to develop and maintain
productive relationships with clients and internal teams.What We

development.Salary Range$220,000 - $250,000The salary offered will
depend on several factors, including your location, level,
education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and
comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to
a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for
other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and
