A company is looking for a US Energy Storage Regulatory Market Policy Director.



Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement corporate strategies for managing project regulatory efforts and influencing policy across ISOs and RTOs
Identify opportunities and threats related to project development objectives, including drafting and negotiating market design proposals
Act as a Regulatory Subject Matter Expert for project development and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory policies and market design initiatives


Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy regulatory affairs and market policy
Proven experience in market design, public policy, and regulatory initiatives across multiple markets
Successful track record in navigating complex regulatory initiatives for utility-scale renewable energy
Experience in corporate leadership and stakeholder management with regulatory bodies
Knowledge of regulatory commercial negotiation and risk mitigation tactics
