- CXL memory devices
- CPU/GPU profiling
- Computer Architecture/Performance modelingWhat You'll Do
- Collaborate with MSL teammates to research innovative solutions for AI/ML workloads.
- Performance profiling of GPU/GPU/Accelerator systems to analyze the bottleneck.
- Characterize device performance and identify architecture trade-offs between memory and computation.
- Design simulation models for new architecture solutions and collect data for publication.
- Generate research patents/IP reports/publications and give talks on the learning.
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned.What You Bring
- Pursuing a PhD in CS/ECE.
- Must have at least 1 academic quarter/semester remaining of computer architecture.
- Required knowledge, achievements, and skillsets in C/C++, AI/ML framework, and hands-on experience with CPU/GPU server hardware.
- Preferred skills include publication and research experience in SW/HW co-design, FPGA acceleration.
