more electrifying.About the RoleWe're looking for multiple talented
Backend Software Engineers to join our team. You will be developing
and maintaining the APIs and server-side logic that power our user
interfaces and CRM functionality, enhancing our product suite and
continuously improving our application's backend features.For this
position, previous experience in developing a piece of CRM, ERP, or
relevant software is required. You will work on creating and
refining backend systems, ensuring efficient data processing, and
maintaining robust and scalable server-side architecture. This is
our largest development team, and we're looking for multiple
engineers to join.ResponsibilitiesThis role empowers you to thrive
in a creative, fast-paced engineering environment focused on
delivering cutting-edge features and repurposing existing ones. As
an Aloware software engineer, you'll be working under the
leadership of our CTO/co-founder and contributing to our code base
within your designated product pod. Your path to promotion involves
solving exciting new scaling problems, delivering new
functionality, and potentially becoming a team lead.Coding and
Development:
- Develop and deliver complete user stories or bug fixes, as
outlined by PMs/Product Owners.
- Write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code
tailored to each user story.Quality Assurance:
- Conduct comprehensive unit testing to ensure code quality.
- Ensure each piece of code is thoroughly tested to maintain high
standards.Peer Interaction and Code Review:
- Actively participate in peer code reviews to enhance code
quality and learning.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members,
especially in areas of expertise.
- Help others with questions, issues, and challenges, promoting a
team-oriented environment.Documentation:
- Write and maintain technical documentation, highlighting its
importance.
- Inform about new or updated dependencies, create deployment
manuals, and produce instructional videos for new tasks.Path to

YouRequirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on a
PHP/Laravel/MySQL/AWS stack. We're open to NodeJS and Python,
though our application is written in PHP/Laravel.
- 2+ years of experience integrating and implementing platforms
through the REST API framework, including CPaaS Providers (Twilio),
major CRMs (HubSpot, Zendesk, Salesforce), and Billing providers
(Chargebee, Stripe).
- Experience working in the API layer with security, logging,
throttling, and modifying requests and responses.
- Demonstrated experience with backend frameworks and
technologies is essential for this position.
- Familiarity with diverse modern databases (Relational, NoSQL,
etc.) and BI tools is advantageous.
- Background related to telecommunications, VOIP, digital
messaging, chatbots, CRM, ticketing, helpdesk, or call center
software as a service.As part of this position, you will be on-call
as an engineer for a maximum of one night a week, on a rotational
basis. While emergencies don't happen often, we do require an
engineer on-call to maintain our quality of service.For this role,
you're expected to work within EST or PST business hours,
regardless of your time zone.Benefits:
