SUMMARY:Advanced Energy is looking for an experienced and
competitive Sales Engineer to help drive sales growth at our key
semiconductor accounts. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with
the sales team, marketing and design engineers, to provide highly
differentiated technical support to our customers to drive design
wins at a diverse set of applications and customers. Additionally,
this position is eligible for the Sales Incentive Plan with a
specific target amount to be determined based on the
role.RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the adoption of Advanced Energy power solutions at our
customers at all stages of the engagement process from pre-sales
activity to postproduction/installation support.
- Support AE solution recommendations, system architecture
guidance, schematic review, on-site customer qualification & debug
support.
- Identify and communicate technical requirements for new
applications or customer needs that aren't served by the current
portfolio to the product development.
- Regularly provide technological updates and product training to
customers, sales, and distribution.
- Provide technical perspective that heavily influences the sales
strategy.WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- This role will be based out of the Milpitas, CA office.
- Environment: time split between AE office and customer sites as
appropriate.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Charismatic communicator that can advocate for customers to an
internal audience and for the company to the customer.
- Solid problem-solving methodology.
- A passionate and curious technologist with an ability to learn
and adapt to industry trends.
- Knowledge of power electronics with ability to qualify, test,
modify, and debug power supplies in the lab as needed.EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of power electronics design and/or
applications experience.COMPENSATION:As required by multiple state
pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range
of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is
influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to,
skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The
range of starting pay for this role is $120,000 to $155,000 per
year.Additionally, this position is eligible for the Sales
Incentive Plan with a specific target amount to be determined based
