$51.00-$51.50 per hour San Jose, CA All On-sitePayrate: $51.00 to $51.50/hrSummary:Looking for someone with a payment risk background who can manage reporting aspects. Must be able to build in Tableau and string in SQL and Python. The role involves dealing with new data sets, building analysis, and creating new frameworks while using existing ones. The focus will be on transactional and customer-based data, handling millions of rows. Responsibilities include taking over existing dashboards and pipelines, making additions, and analyzing data. The environment is fast-paced, requiring someone who can adapt quickly.Job Responsibilities:

• Develop significant insights that improve risk controls based on large incidents, near misses, product and portfolio analysis.
• Help develop risk frameworks to manage fraud risk, products, and portfolio threats, decode policies, and enhance fraud prevention.
• Monitor the performance of risk strategies and proactively seek out opportunities for improvement in policy, operations, and outputs.
• Partner with risk horizontal teams to deliver scalable global risk management policies through the buyer lifecycle.
• Establish relationships with partners in regional businesses, product owners, engineering, incident management, and risk operations organizations to set shared goals and influence the prioritization of important risk strategies.Knowledge:
  • Quantitative analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate industry.
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellence in verbal and written communication, emphasizing persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
  • Business process knowledge of assigned area(s) and/or function(s).
  • Knowledge of advanced data gathering and analysis techniques, including statistical analysis.Education:
    • Experience working in uncertain environments with limited requirements.
    • SQL Query experience (1-3 years).
    • Ability to combine raw data into useful summarizations.
    • Python experience (3-5 years).
    • Pyspark experience (3-5 years).
    • Experience working with large-scale data.
    • Experience creating automated unit tests.
    • Dashboard design experience (3-5 years).
    • Experience translating complex data into business visualizations.
