Job Description:

The Receiving Chemist will be responsible for receiving, sampling, and analyzing waste

from 55-gallon drum shipments within our industrial warehouse facility. We are searching for a safety-oriented and reliable hard-worker to join

our team in San Jose, CA

Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $ 25.00 hr

  Qualifications
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  
  • Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following all policies, procedures, and always acting in a safe manner
  • Use of proper personal protective equipment to sample waste in shipping containers throughout the warehouse and properly track and label the materials as needed
  • Responsible for knowledge of Waste Information Network (WIN) system applicable to inventory and drum storage rack system
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all applicable SOP's
  • Maintain proper housekeeping and follow best practices for supply management in areas of responsibility
  • Other duties as assigned
