Nutanix IT infrastructure life cycle operations by consolidating
software and firmware component upgrades into a unified control
plane. It serves as the delivery pipeline for various products in
the Nutanix ecosystem. This team, known for its collaborative
culture, is located in San Jose, California, where team members
work closely together to tackle challenges and innovate solutions.
The mission of the team is to ensure seamless integration and
enhancement of software and firmware upgrades, with an emphasis on
collaboration across various product teams at Nutanix to drive
operational excellence and improve the user experience.You will
report to the Hiring Manager, who embodies a leadership style that
values teamwork and open communication. The manager fosters an
environment where collaboration is encouraged, and team members are
empowered to contribute ideas and solutions effectively. The work
setup for this role is primarily hybrid in San Jose, with team
members expected to be in office 3-4 days a week.This role does not
require any travel.Your Role
- Design and develop software with clean interfaces and
APIs.
- Contribute to the framework and collaborate with
cross-functional teams for lifecycle management.
- Engage in problem-solving across multiple teams to address
technical challenges.
- Participate in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining
high-quality standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of distributed software
systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge
sharing and best practices.What You Will Bring
- Proficient in Python with excellent design and coding
skills.
- Experience in designing software with clean interfaces and
APIs.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced
environment.
- Familiarity with distributed software systems, OS, hypervisor,
and firmware.
- Experience with Golang is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills across multiple teams and
projects.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Computer Science or a
related field is required.
- Experience of 3+ years in related fields.

- .The pay range for this position at commencement of employment
is expected to be between USD $124,800 and USD $249,600 per year.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple
individualized factors, including market location, job-related
knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package
for this position may also include other elements, including a
sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in
addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other
benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off
benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave),
dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in
these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an
offer of employment.Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid
capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages
of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming
into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain
roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by
your manager.If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position"
