If you are passionate about a secure Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) foundation, this role offers the opportunity to solve challenging technical problems while shaping a scalable, robust platform.As a part of our Identity platform team, you will be involved in efforts to consolidate identity and profile data, define role-based access controls and ensure seamless secure experiences across our web and mobile platforms. Your work will be foundational to both internal and external ecosystems, enabling smooth integration with partners and third-party developers.If you're excited about taking on this challenge and working with a team of talented engineers, we'd love to meet you!We'd love to chat if you have:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or a closely related field
• 5+ years developing systems/software for large business environment platforms on Java
• Experience implementing complex distributed systems and robust, highly scalable, and performant SaaS applications
• Experience with AWS: Serverless (API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, EventBridge)
• 2+ years of experience in implementing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) systems, with expertise in supporting Federated Identity using SAML and OpenID Connect, along with OAuth 2 based authorization protocols
• Good understanding of Identity fraud prevention, including MFA, step-up authentication and biometric security
• Excellent teamwork and communication, ability to work across multiple feature teams and product managers
• Passion for great products and building great customer experiencesThe estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.San Jose pay range: $177,300 - $212,700 USDThe estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL's bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above.
