Software Engineer - New College Grad 2025Mountain View, CAMatX is on a mission to be the compute platform for AGI. We are developing vertically integrated full-stack solutions from silicon to systems including hardware and software to train and run the largest ML workloads for AGI. We primarily use the Rust programming language.Responsibilities:

• Design and implement software for our proprietary hardware architecture
• Provide insights and guidance on hardware architectureRequirements:
  • Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree by date of employment
  • Possess outstanding software engineering skills with a focus on efficiency and performancePreferences:
    • Familiarity with SIMD programming, C, or assembly-level optimization, and familiarity with GPU kernels
    • Familiarity with compilers such as LLVM
    • Familiarity with ML models such as Transformers.
    • Interest in building tools that people use
    • Interest in languages, Rust maintenance, and library developmentCompensation:
      • The US base salary for this full-time position is $120,000 - $200,000 + equity
      • Commuter stipend available for employees within 60 minutes of the office
