Job Description:

PositionVelo3D is seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to join our team and help build a revolutionary quality control system.Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python 3 (especially for designing multi-threaded servers and applications).
• Understanding of Docker and containerization.
• Ability to understand user workflows and translate product designs needed in the user front end into robust back-end implementations.
• Familiarity with HTML UI design.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (it's an ITAR work requirement).Nice To Have:
  • Familiarity with gRPC servers and Protobuf interfaces.
  • Familiarity with Grafana and time series databases.
  • Experience deploying applications to AWS.
  • Experience designing back-end applications with relational databases.
  • Experience working with Linux.
  • Experience designing web server backends and RESTful JSON APIs.Education and Experience:
    • Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited university in Computer Science or a related field or higher.
    • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering.Responsibilities and Duties:
      • Work with a database using SQL.
      • Develop back-end applications with relational databases.
