Software Validation Engineer, Simulation Infrastructure, High Voltage SystemsAs a Validation Engineer on the High Voltage Systems team, you will have the opportunity to develop validation plans and automation tooling to help accelerate the development of new products and features for Tesla vehicles. Through the lens of validation, you will assist in the bringup of new products and features, working closely with firmware developers to ensure the quality of Tesla products. Join a dedicated and highly skilled team of engineers and work on cutting-edge and impactful products.What You'll Do

• Develop a static code analysis review process using Polyspace
• Develop tooling to create coverage reports on a per-release basis using Polarion and XRAY
• Create pipelines to upload data from simulation sweeps (e.g. power maps) into Caspian for signoff
• Create test filtering and load balancing infrastructure to keep build times in CI / Sim-Cluster down
• Work with integration, sysval system validation, and firmware developers to create safety concept test plans for new products
• Write Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) tests in pytest or gtest to help achieve validation plansWhat You'll Bring
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong Python and scripting skills
  • Experience creating validation plans
  • Experience working with CI/CD
  • Experience with data pipelines and data analysis
  • Experience coordinating cross-team efforts
