Job Description:
5+ years architecture or engineering experience, including 3+
years of experience with BIM tools.Educational Requirements:The
successful candidate will have a professional degree in planning,
architecture, landscape architecture, architecture technology, or
related field.Qualifications:
- Technical expertise in enterprise-wide BIM enabling
applications and experience working in a BIM/VDC Coordinator role,
including experience with Revit and Civil3D applications.
- Knowledge of Rhino, AutoCAD, D5, Enscape, Dynamo, Grasshopper
is beneficial.
- Knowledge of GIS, Python, Revit API, Autodesk Platform
Services, or SQL is beneficial.
- Familiarity with lean project practices, including team
structure, cloud-based collaboration, and legal controls (digital
data agreements, BEPs, etc.) is considered a plus.
- Successful candidates will have experience working
independently and as part of an effective team.Description:Our
interdisciplinary design firm is looking for a passionate Design
Technology Coordinator interested in applying current and future
technologies to our firm's established culture of design. With
opportunities for growth and advancement, the Design Technology
Coordinator will support in aligning staff and project needs with
technology-driven opportunities inclusive of hardware, software,
training, and other investments necessary to innovatively adopt BIM
in a consistent manner.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- With technical knowledge in the design BIM lifecycle (Design
Authoring, Documentation, Scheduling, Visualization, XR, etc.) -
the Design Technology Coordinator will (i) provide high-level
design contributions to many, if not most, BIM projects in the firm
and (ii) aid in the facilitation and adoption of workflows,
templates, digital asset management, data analysis, and parametric
tool development for our users.
- The successful candidate will assist in the expansion and
process implementation of BIM and other technologies through the
audit of project workflows and the creation of parametric
content.
- The position requires proactively identifying and prioritizing
the needs of our 200+ Autodesk Revit users based, collectively, in
our New York and San Francisco offices.
- The successful candidate will advocate for the broad ecosystem
of AEC tools with direct support for Revit and ACC workflows.
- The Design Technology Coordinator will present excellent
interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills for daily
use in a dynamic, interactive design team environment.The salary
range for this position is $85,000-$110,000.Our Mission:To apply an
