Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Flatbed Delivery in Union City, CA.

Compensation:

• Hourly wage of $30.25 per hour.
• Overtime paid after 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
• Typically work 45-55 hours per week.
• Two Bonus programs available; paid out every 6 months.

  • Career advancement opportunities. Work Schedule:
    • Monday-Friday. Minimum of 8-hours paid per day.
    • Work schedule typically 6:00am-2:30pm or until work is completed. Usually 8-12 hours per day.
    • Home every day. Deliveries within 300 mile radius. Make 8-12 stops per day.
    • Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs. Responsibilities:
      • Route delivery of aluminum and steel products. No touch/no unload.
      • Drive CDL A 42' flatbed with manual transmission to transport materials and equipment to specific route destinations.
      • Secure pallets using straps and/or chains. Secure and/or Resecure load at each delivery location.
      • Document pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
      • Manage hours of service (HOS) and ensure DOT compliance.
      • Provide excellent customer service.
      • Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
      • Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers. Requirements:
        • Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
        • Minimum of 2 years of CDL A flatbed delivery experience required.
        • Ability to operate a manual transmission. No manuel restriction.
        • Familiar with Smart Drive or other fleet safety technology.
        • Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
        • Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
        • Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
        • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
        • Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
        • Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
        • Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance.
