The Nurse Manager of ER Emergency Room will manage the delivery of nursing services and patient care which meet or exceed cost, quality, clinical and utilization standards and performance measures in the hospital setting. The ED Emergency Department Nurse Manager will ensure that services meet patients, physician and internal clients needs in a changing, competitive healthcare market and in accordance with the standards, policies, and practices of the medical Center.The Nurse Manager of the Emergency Department ED will direct, supervise, coordinate, plan and evaluate unit functions and activities in order to provide cost-effective care of high quality according to the standards of the hospital. The ER Emergency Room Nurse Manager will also manage quality improvement and risk management activities of the unit; implements changes in policy, actively participates in the administration of the Department of Nursing.
