currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project
Manager to join our team:
- Location: Heredia, Costa Rica.
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Work model: Hybrid.
- Contract Type: Indefinite-term.What is your day to day?
- Manage the Project Management Program across the region,
providing remote guidance to Facility Managers for minor project
execution and actively participating in complex IFM projects.
Develop project management methodologies, technologies, and
processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support annual strategic planning, portfolio strengths and
weaknesses analysis, and continuous improvement of standard
operating procedures. Assist in developing Tier One level and
country/site level Strategic Plans based on IFM Global and Regional
Strategic Plans.
- Ensure compliance with laws, codes, regulations, MS
Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S), IT requirements, and MS
insurance requirements in all operations and contracted services.
Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all
contracted services at the site level.
- Coordinate with RE&F to develop and maintain comprehensive
reports on operational and financial performance, including
variance analysis, outstanding issues, accomplishments, life cycle
status, trend analysis, asset management activity, and customer
satisfaction. Maintain backup data to quantify summary
reporting.
- Support selection, contracting, and management of Tier Two
Providers, ensuring their performance against predefined criteria.
Track and measure vendor performance using metrics and KPIs. Ensure
timely payment of Tier One and Tier Two Provider invoices.
- Identify and implement innovations, process improvements, and
cost-saving opportunities. Present an annual Strategic Plan with
recommended innovations and cost savings, including implementation
schedules. Benchmark practices within JLL accounts and propose
improvements.
- Manage infrastructure and asset renewal projects, ensuring
compliance with budget, schedule, and scope without business
interruption. Oversee all stages of project delivery, including
planning, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and proper
closeout. Support asset management tagging and capital renewal
programs.
- Support security, fire life safety, and environmental health
management, including coordination of emergency response plans.
Help provide a safe workplace, protect the environment, and ensure
compliance with regulations and MS Corporate requirements. Support
site-specific environmental and sustainability goals, including
efforts to reduce carbon footprint.Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture or
Civil Engineering.
- 3-5 years' experience as Project Manager in or related
field.
- Experience working in technology industry, facilities,
maintenance (desirable)
- Fluent in Spanish and English.Technical Skills required:
- Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services.
- Knowledge in budget management.
- Knowledge in Environment and Sustainability.
- Knowledge of local occupational health and safety
