Platform Introduction TV team and be at the forefront of delivering
new TV models worldwide. In this role, you'll immerse yourself in a
variety of functions, gaining expertise across the entire system.

engineers, driving automation and innovation to ensure our products
are top-notch. You'll also play a crucial role in helping your team
grow, providing guidance and support in problem-solving. Your
leadership will be key in pushing the boundaries of what's
possible, making a significant impact on our global product
launches.What you'll be doing
- Manage a team of professionals focused on automated testing for
Digital TV products.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for new features
and enhancements for digital TV products, ensuring thorough
coverage and high quality.
- Meticulously track all test results, ensuring timely reporting
and resolution of defects.
- Provide status updates from QA team members and your own
hands-on testing experience to stakeholders and management.
- Take responsibility for QA relevant project milestones along
with QA resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources
and timely completion of projects.
- Hire, train, and manage additional QA Engineers to support the
growing needs of the product line.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams, partners, and
management to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Emphasize the use of automation in testing to improve
efficiency, coverage, and reliability of test results.
- Continuously enhance the QA process to ensure superior quality
and meet QA cycle goals.We're excited if you have
- 8+ years building and leading quality assurance teams, with a
focus on automation.
- 10+ years of experience writing and executing QA test plans in
the software or consumer electronics industry.
- Experience generating and presenting quantitative reports at
project status meetings.
- Experience with both black box testing and QA automation on
embedded platforms, particularly for digital TV products.
- Willingness to execute test procedures, including hands-on
testing for new features and enhancements.
- Ability to meet QA cycle goals and continually improve the QA
process to ensure superior quality.
- Strong ability to represent Roku externally and resolve
difficult issues with our partners in a productive and friendly
manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and enthusiasm for consumer products, especially
digital TV technologies and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or
