If so, let's talk.Your role and responsibilitiesWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic team, focusing on IBM Informix-a leading relational database management system. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between product development, business needs, and customer requirements while ensuring that IBM Informix's features are continuously enhanced to meet evolving market demands.The TPM will work closely with engineering teams, product leadership, and stakeholders to drive product strategy, define product roadmaps, and provide thought leadership on the IBM Informix platform. The role demands a strong blend of technical expertise, customer empathy, and project management skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a product roadmap for IBM Informix, aligning with business goals and customer needs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to define product features and prioritization.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to ensure IBM Informix remains a market leader.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align product initiatives with strategic business objectives.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product goals and technical constraints.
• Collect and prioritize customer feedback, ensuring that customer-driven features are represented on the product roadmap.
• Work with sales, customer support, and professional services teams to gather customer insights and identify pain points.
• Own the product lifecycle for IBM Informix from ideation through release, including GTM, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Define detailed product specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Monitor and measure product performance post-launch, iterating quickly based on customer feedback and analytics.
• Provide technical leadership and product expertise on IBM Informix, ensuring that the platform evolves to meet emerging technology trends and customer demands.
• Understand the inner workings of IBM Informix, including architecture, performance tuning, and data management best practices.
• Help resolve technical challenges faced by both customers and internal teams, offering practical solutions and guidance.Required educationBachelor's DegreePreferred educationMaster's DegreeRequired technical and professional expertiseExperience:
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years of experience working with database technologies (preferably IBM Informix).
  • Proven track record of managing full product lifecycle-from concept to delivery-for complex technical products.
  • Strong experience in gathering and analyzing customer requirements, translating them into actionable product specifications.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.Technical Expertise:
    • In-depth understanding of IBM Informix database, including architecture, administration, and performance tuning.
    • Solid understanding of database management systems (DBMS), data modeling, and SQL.
    • Familiarity with cloud-based deployments, particularly within hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
    • Experience with data replication, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions in the database space.Communication Skills:
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Experience presenting to executive leadership and stakeholders.Problem Solving & Critical Thinking:
        • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
        • Ability to identify and resolve complex product issues while balancing customer needs, engineering constraints, and business goals.Preferred technical and professional experience:
          • Strong background in Informix database and database development.
