The Opportunity

Our client is a national innovator of construction building materials. They have hired us to seek out a Quality Manager for their Vacaville, CA location.

This position reports to the Divisional Quality Manager and is responsible for supervising the quality program and QC employees, ensuring compliance with standards, and driving process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Other responsibilities include:
--- Assisting in developing standards and operating procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
--- Resolving in-house and supplier quality issues and implementing corrective actions.
--- Maintaining production and quality records for evaluation and traceability.
--- Leading external facility audits and ensuring compliance with third-party inspections.

Qualifications include:
--- 5+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
--- 1-2 years of experience managing a team.
--- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong computer skills.
--- QA/QC certification (depending on the specific project).
