Working in collaboration with the Board of Directors, the executive team, and AC Transit employees both represented and non-represented, the CEO empowers the agency to achieve short- and long-term objectives and serves as an advocate for AC Transit in the local community and the industry as a whole.Minimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten (10) years of increasingly responsible experience in management for a large public or private organization, including six (6) years in an advanced leadership capacity equivalent to a department head or assistant department head or a similar executive-level position. A bachelor's degree or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university is required. A master's degree is preferred.
