Salary Range: $110,000.00 To $120,000.00 AnnuallyManufacturing ManagerKnightscope is looking for an autonomous, highly motivated, and driven individual to lead and optimize our Manufacturing team. As the Manufacturing Manager, you will be responsible for production output, production quality, and department safety standards in order to meet key metrics. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering quality products.This position is located in Mountain View, CA and will require you to be full time on-site.Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management

• Manage the manufacturing team, ensuring safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Organize, train, mentor, and manage team members to meet production goals and uphold company standards.
• Collaborate across departments with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to streamline production efforts and to foster growth and innovation.
• Partner with purchasing and procurement to ensure all components and supplies are on time, accurate, and of Knightscope quality standards.
• Manufacturing Process Oversight
• Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to optimize efficiency and output.
• Manage daily production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of robots and communication devices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure minimal downtime.
• Meet aggressive target metrics for 2025 and beyond. Maintain adherence to quality standards and resolve non-conformance issues.
• Monitor raw materials and component inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Use NetSuite ERP to manage Manufacturing: BOMs, Work Orders, labor tracking, Inventory management, logistics, etc.
• Ensure the highest performance of our products through efficiency and product quality.
• Assist in the collection, preparation, and analysis of data and development procedures.
• Be a leader and driving force of Lean practices and continuous improvement activities - ensure the workplace remains tidy (5S).
• Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to track manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Prepare and present regular reports on production metrics and improvement initiatives to senior management.Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8+ years in manufacturing, with at least 3-5 years in a management role. Experience with robotics, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing is highly desirable. Proven & measurable results as a team leader in previous positions.
  • Master of ERP and/or MES software to control the business and communicate efficiently.
  • Ability to manage a complex set of objectives and team goals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and mindful approach to challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Timeliness, determination, and remarkable drive to succeed.Bonus Points
    • Experience in a startup environment.
    • Ability to lead rapid change direction based on business demands.
    • Highly experienced in Netsuite ERP.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret manufacturing metrics and financial data.
