Apply Compensation Range $110,000 - 135,000 per year Onsite Status: This is a Hybrid role and consists of a combination of WFH In Person work Location(s): 700 Pier A Plaza, Long Beach, California 90813, United States1717 Middle Harbor Rd, Oakland, California 94607, United States Essential Job Responsibilities: The Air Quality Manager will be responsible for oversight and implementation of applicable State and Local Air Quality Regulations at respective locations. This role will also be responsible for preparing and submitting associated applications and fulfilling reporting obligations. This position will involve interfacing with company management, environmental representatives, and regulatory authorities. Existing knowledge and experience with current and upcoming State and Local Air Quality Regulations is crucial to this role.

• Evaluate, understand and implement air quality regulations at associated facilities.
  
• Prepare air permitting documents for applicable equipment and facilities.
  
• Understand and assist in implementing permit conditions for associated equipment.
  
• Develop reports and plans required by Air Quality Regulations.
  
• Compile and maintain associated records.
  
• Meet and communicate with Air Quality Regulators and Inspectors.
  
• Monitor upcoming regulations and participate in rule development workshops and discussions.
  
• Work with Sustainability Department to assist in projects.
  
• Other duties as assigned.
  Qualifications:
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    
  • Extensive experience with Air Quality Rules and Regulations required.
    
  • Industry experience is helpful but not required.
    
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
    
  • Strong experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and PowerBI.
    
  • Experience with LMS systems helpful but not required.
    
  • Ability to collaborate with others and engage teams.
    
  • Highly organized, independent, and flexible.
    
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
    
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, management, and external stakeholders.
    
  • Demonstrated ability to work with other cross-functional teams across the organization to coordinate assigned work and accomplish business objectives.
    
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.

    Work Environment:
    
    • 
      
    • Required job duties are normally performed in a climate-controlled office environment however 10% of time may be spent outdoors in a marine terminal environment.
      
    • Exposure to computer screens.
      
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
      
    • Some travel may be required.
