About the Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Director People Program
Management will lead an agile team dedicated to the implementation
of innovative and scalable People products and services. This
pivotal role will ensure the successful deployment and ongoing
success of these initiatives through customized project management,
change management, and communication strategies. As a critical
leader on the People Leadership Team, you will transform the
delivery of People products and services into a strategic advantage
for Chime by ensuring the most important moments along the Chimer
lifecycle deliver outsized value and impact.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will
begin at $168,570.00 and up to $238,900.00. Full-time employees are
also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and
benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending
on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Intake and Demand Shaping: Lead the strategic intake
process for People initiatives, ensuring alignment with business
priorities and organizational goals. Collaborate with senior
leaders to identify and prioritize key People projects and
services, shaping demand by understanding business needs and
forecasting future requirements. Develop frameworks to assess and
prioritize requests, ensuring that resources are allocated
effectively and that high-impact initiatives are executed
efficiently.
- Project Management: Oversee the deployment of People
initiatives across all product areas, utilizing scalable delivery
strategies to drive adoption and enhance Chimer
satisfaction.
- Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of People projects and
initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, resource
allocation, and timely execution.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and track KPIs and OKRs to
measure the impact and success of People products and services,
identifying areas for improvement and scaling successful
initiatives.
- Change Management: Develop and implement customized change
management and communication plans in collaboration with People
Product Leads and functional leaders, ensuring smooth transitions
and high adoption rates.
- HR Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Lead HR M&A
activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and
execution to ensure seamless transitions and alignment with Chime's
People strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Facilitate feedback loops to assess the
impact of changes on People product areas, identifying
opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Team Development: Build and lead a high-performing team,
fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous
improvement through scalable systems and processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders
across the organization to develop solutions to complex business
challenges, driving alignment and achieving strategic
objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in strategy, operations, commercial
go-to-market/deployment, large-scale business and organizational
transformation, management consulting, organizational change
management, and HR M&A.
- Relationship Management: Proven ability to build and maintain
relationships with diverse stakeholders, adapting approaches to
meet varying needs within a complex business environment.
- Strategic and Operational Skills: Demonstrated ability to think
strategically and translate strategies into actionable operational
plans with minimal oversight.
- Project and Portfolio Management Expertise: Extensive
experience leading global, cross-functional projects and managing
portfolios, with a track record of successful
implementations.
- HR M&A Expertise: Experience in leading HR M&A
activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and
execution.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business functions and
their interdependencies, with a keen ability to drive
cross-functional initiatives.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional attention to detail and ability
to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely and
high-quality outcomes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication
skills, capable of presenting information clearly and persuasively
to diverse audiences.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain
a diverse and high-performing team, fostering an inclusive and
collaborative culture.
